Time to reflect.

Sarria is a major starting point for many pilgrims with limited time who want to walk the last 100 km to Santiago – this is all that’s required if you want to get a certificate called a compostela in Santiago. I decided even though it was a busy town bustling with fresh faced as well as weather beaten pilgrims, I would stay another day and try to put off arriving in Santiago as long as I possibly could! Just the thought of being so close to Santiago made me sad as I never really contemplated the end and I had been having so much fun with the everyday adventures of the camino. I didn’t have a time limit or a return flight so I stayed another day!
