Day 2
Lake Morena to Cibbets campground (mile 29.76), 14 miles (incl off-trail campsite access)
Stay: Cibbets campground, $3.50 ($14 per campsite divided by 4 people)

Today in a nutshell: Lovely views, lots of wildflowers, sunny & hot, water after 6 miles then 12 miles so I only needed to carry 3 litres between each 6 mile stage.

It’s only day 2 but I’m so tired I’m falling asleep writing this. Hopefully I’ll have figured out a routine of unpacking my bag, setting up camp and breaking camp efficiently & quickly within a week 🙂
