Day 40
Mile 577 to mile 604, 27 miles
Cost: camped, free
I woke up in mist and it stayed that way pretty much all day. It was beautiful walking through the woods with the colour of the wildflowers bursting through the whiteout conditions. I passed trees covered in fungi and I gradually got quite wet as the trees dripped water on me and my shoes brushed against the wet grass, it was cold too.
I passed the 600 mile mark and 1000km mark 🙂
I filled up on water at two different springs and I met Teatime (Obvious Hiker) who I knew from back in London (from blogging). I camped with Teatime and Dundee.
Wow. The miles seem to flying by. 🙂 I remember when you were at 300 miles.
