PCT Day 74, Mile 1027 to mile 1046

Day 74
Mile 1026 to 1046, 20 miles
Cost: camped, free

We slept in until 6:40am, no hurry because we were planning to camp before Ebbetts Pass where the fire is burning so as not to be too smoky.

I ran into the Ravens (family of four) who I hadn’t seen for a long time and also Dundee.

The wildflowers are getting more and more beautiful and the trail is often covered in them.

Pretty faces

There were heaps of waterfalls and more volcanic rock, it’s a completely different landscape now.

It was a really hot day and we could see lots of smoke in the distance but it wasn’t too bad on the trail.
