- Lunch at the wonderful Ness Deli in Drumnadrochit. There was a campground here (although off the trail and a bit of a walk from the centre of town) and I thought for a moment about staying and visiting the castle, but I really hate walking backwards… and I would have had to retrace my steps a number of times to go into Drumnadrochit for a meal, back to the campground, then pass through the town the next morning, so instead I kept going a further 12km…!
